Before there was Midtown Miami, Anthony Spinello decided to fill a void in the Miami art scene. With less than $3K in the bank, Spinello decided to sell every piece of furniture in his second floor walk up apartment on Craigslist.com and convert his pad into Spinello Gallery. Since its inception of in 2005, the notable gallery has been at the heart of theburgeoning contemporary art market in Miami. Spinello Gallery prides itself in exhibiting intelligent works of art in all mediums by contemporary, unorthodox and experimentalartists who don’t easily fit into the confines of the traditional gallery space.
